Applications and Information SEIFC member
institutions may apply for awards in two broad categories: outstanding
overall achievement and outstanding achievement in specific programming
areas.
SEIFC Achievement Awards recognize fraternity governing councils that
meet specific standards in one or more of eleven programmatic areas. Governing
councils that meet the criteria in all eleven categories receive Fraternal
Excellence Awards. Multiple winners are recognized in both the SEIFC Achievement
and Fraternal Excellence Awards.
Excellence in Programming Awards recognize fraternity governing councils
that have displayed innovation and creativity in individual programmatic
areas. Multiple winners may be recognized in each of nine categories.
SEIFC also presents the Dan Lowery Man-Mile Award, which recognizes the
governing council that travels the farthest with the most delegates
to
the Leadership Academy. The final award two awards are the Dr. Tom Shoemaker
Advisor of the Year and the Gregory R. Singleton Greek Man of the Year.
The Dr. Tom Shoemaker Advisor of the Year recognizes a council
advisor
who
has been
nominated
by his/her council for outstanding service. The newest award is the Gregory R. Singleton Greek Man of the Year Award. This
award recognizes the student who most exemplifies the values of the fraternal
